Zegnat As long as %service% can irrevocably cut you off, and you have no way to then point it at %newservice%, it would be a silo. If your Geocities page was suddenly made unavailable, you cannot communicate where people might find you now, and you may not have been able to take with you stuff you stored there. Sounds silo to me.
