#Loqimulti-factor authentication (commonly two-factor authentication, abbreviated 2FA or TFA) is an authentication process that requires at least a second component to a standard authentication method https://indieweb.org/MFA
#gRegorLoveThat was for Loqi, our bot. We have that page.
#[Micah_Silvermanyou can define a number of different factors (google authenticator, sms, okta verify, yubikey) and then you have to satisfy one of those factors after you authenticate

#gRegorLove... yarns will try to find all feeds on a site
#gRegorLove... shows split screen. Left side is old code, right side is newer.
#gRegorLove... clicks search on left side, going slowly; clicking search on right side and it's already found the feeds
#gRegorLove... new one is faster and finds more feeds (tantek.com has multiple h-feeds)

#gRegorLove... worked with David Bryant on webmentions, found an issue with his site. The reply-context was coming through in post content. edited theme to fix it.
#GWGFYI, it would help if webmention endpoints recognized properties inside e-content
#gRegorLove(mf2 parsers parse properties within e-content)
#Loqifriendly reminder GWG, gRegorLove, it looks like this conversation is getting pretty technical, can you take it to #indieweb-dev?
#gRegorLove... currently shows a very minimal reply context "reply to a tweet"
#gRegorLove... no icon for person or idea what they said
#gRegorLove... github reply context shows issue number and title (documented on github)
#gRegorLove... RSVP to gRegor's event doesn't know it's an event so just says "gregorlove.com's post"
#gRegorLove... planned to use /Xray at post time to preview reply-context
#gRegorLove... where should the reply-context be stored? Marty suggested sidefile, since it's not your content
#[asteres]Nice, thank you! I just wanted to pop in and ask about combining indieauth with webmentions. Like is is possible to only take RSVPs from websites that have authenticated with you?
#gRegorLove... decided to document issues with reply-context. Person's name could be "wrong", their URL, location, or some phrase

#[aaronpk]You just missed the demo of private posts! ;-)
#[Jamey_Sharp]Hmmm, that sounds slightly different than private posts, right? This is about what might be a public event but only the authorized rsvps count?
#gRegorLove... opened an Xray issue to do original post discovery

#petermolnarthis is partially -dev, but not truly: one of the biggest problems I have with static sites is the lack of any option to properly do HTTP 410 and HTTP 302 or 301. Apart from search, this is the sole reason why I keep having a .php fallback on not found which acts as a proxy and returns proper codes. I believe this is a fundamental missing piece to go "fully static". How is everyone handling these cases? How important you think these ca

#jeremycherfasWelcome [Ben_Connors] Do you already have a website?
#[Ben_Connors]Hey. I do [jeremycherfas] but I’m in the process of leaving dreamhost in favor of a LAMP server on a Pi at home, so I can’t really point you to it.
#[Ben_Connors]I’ve been running wordpress for personal stuff, but a few years ago I got into OcoberCMS for a work project. http://www.sandbox.video/blog/ anyone here use OctoberCMS or got opinions about it, and whether it has a healthy future?
#jeremycherfasNo problem. I'm on dreamhost myself, but don't really have the skill to self host, not even on a Pi.
#jeremycherfasQuite a coincidence. I moved the Grav a little while ago, and just a couple of days ago first learned of October CMS as a result of someone saying the Grav forum that they preferred it.

#petermolnarLAMP on Pi -> careful there, mysql can wear out that sd card
#jeremycherfas[jgmac1106] would love the cards on that site.
#[Ben_Connors]Hmmm, thanks Peter. That’s definitely a bit over my head. I’m most comfortable on a LAMP stack, any other hardware you’d suggest? I’m serving files off an external drive, maybe I could move my DB there as well.

#LoqiIt looks like we don't have a page for "OctoberCMS" yet. Would you like to create it?_q (Or just say "OctoberCMS is ____", a sentence describing the term)
#[Ben_Connors]Happy to! BTW I snagged those CSS effects here:
#jeremycherfasI think [jgmac1106]'s main concern is building a grid that flows and stuff.
#petermolnar[Ben_Connors]: I'd just suggest to get a good sd card, samsung pro endurance or similar, those take a lot more, than the cheaper ones. It shouldn't be an issue for a while, especially if the database is mainly read, not wrote
#[jgmac1106]yeah, its a love hate relagtionship with my symmetrical design, at one point perfect layout required me to be exact in my character count...so now I can be a little sloppier in my copy...so I lose the constraint that drives creativity...at the other end designing cards with a mix of CSS Grid and flexbox to get design I want was hard
#[jgmac1106]mJordan did a wonderful job teaching me subgrid (only works in Nightly) there is a codepen and all the Rachel Andrew tutorials in the etherpad
#[jgmac1106]Ben Connors...you don't create an account on the wiki you log in with your domain
#[Ben_Connors]Thanks. I’ll have to revisit, and write the wiki stub outside of work hours. Nice to meet you all. [sebsel] ```October is a free, open-source, self-hosted CMS platform based on the Laravel PHP Framework```https://octobercms.com/
#sebsel[Ben_Connors]: you can also let Loqi create the pages!

#jeremycherfasI thought in general we weren't adding things to the wiki without an indieweb angle? Of course, October CMS could be used in that way, but is anyone doing so?
wolftune, fauno_ and fauno__ joined the channel
#[tantek]jeremycherfas do you know if October CMS supports any IndieWeb features? And if not, is there a link to file issues (or pull requests) to add them? That would be useful to add to the page
#jeremycherfasI do not know. I searched plugins and themes, and there was nothing obvious. But having that kind of structure, there could be, one day.
#jeremycherfasGrav is the same. Nothing much out of the box, but has users who make it do IndieWeb things.

#[jgmac1106]yeah and there are community plugins being built for Grav by community memebers
