Not sure if folks are following along, but Chrome has an Intent to Experiment with Scroll To Text Fragment https://github.com/bokand/ScrollToTextFragment

Based on the work of this community (Fragmentations), I had worked on a similar explainer for Arbitrary Text Fragments https://github.com/MicrosoftEdge/MSEdgeExplainers/blob/master/Fragments/explainer.md

Thanks AaronG I have been engaging with that, but I should have another look. My goal is to get them to accept the fragmention syntax as a fallback behind whatever "DSL in a fragment" they come up with, and then let simplicity win

[tantek]
decent approach

aaronpk
accidental indienews syndication from the wordpress plugin?
#
GWG
I removed the built in functionality in favor of a new version that requires you add it

GWG
He'd have to have intentionally done it

anarchivist, there was a question about how the post about Prime Day was related to IndieWeb
#
anarchivist
s/he/they/g :)
#

i think there was a connection in my head when i started drafting it; i probably put the syndication flags in when i started writing
#
anarchivist
but, ah, that thought stream didn't persist.
#
[tantek]
it did have that feel when reading it
#
[tantek]
that there was another underlying solidarity with independence kind of thread being woven
#
[KevinMarks]
I assume that the connection was "can you be indie if you rely on AWS?" going by the argument
#
anarchivist
i don't know if i'd even go that far, [KevinMarks]

anarchivist
but yeah, i think part of the angle is the the embeddedness of platform-as-infra

The step beyond severless is codeless? My site is on AWS, but via Heroku and statically served, because that was an easy temporary hack several years ago.

I can move it to any other static thing. If I start adding "serverless" code I'm now coupled to a set of stacks

KartikPrabhu
I think this when Loqi sends people to #indieweb-dev ?
