[kimberlyhirsh] When I use indiebookclub.biz to post to my site hosted on micro.blog it seems the <data> tags and reading-related microformats don't end up in the micro.blog post. Any thoughts on why this is/what, if anything, I can do about it? (Obv redirect me to another channel as appropriate.) [manton] [kimberlyhirsh] This is a limitation in Micro.blog, because Micro.blog creates a new post with simple Markdown from the IndieBookClub data instead of using HTML with microformats. It seems like something I could improve.

[manton] Micro.blog tries to use Markdown where possible because it makes editing the post much easier. But that means these special post types don't have as much data as they could preserved in the HTML. Maybe should be a setting.
