[tantek]It is a bit odd to suggest so strongly for one optional property. The warning is bad and badly worded. I'll leave aside the debates about "Diet Culture".

[tantek]As a counter datapoint, calorie counting *did* work for me, and with it I was able to make steady sustainable changes over the course of 6 months. That being said, if I thought recipe publishers were being prompted / pressured into putting a calorie count, I wouldn't want to trust that information.
[dmitshur]1[fluffy] There are 3 reactions at https://beesbuzz.biz/blog/1836-Im-not-buying-a-Mac-Pro right now. What are the ways I can leave a reaction on that page so that it shows up? Is favoriting the linked mastodon post the only way, or are there others?
glgacHi, I checked the wiki but couldn't find much. What are some example of companies that have adopted Indieweb and/or its principles? I found https://small-tech.org/ after some digging but there must be more.
glgacThanks! From that page I'm checking out https://withknown.com/. I see how their service helps but they themselves don't seem to use WebSub/POSSE as far as I can tell for their own content. Huffduffer look like they are doing POSSE however.
LoqiIndieWeb for business is the use of an indieweb site or section thereof for business purposes, to post professional products or services, announcements, reminders, and generally interact with business clients, instead of social media silo posts and pages https://indieweb.org/business
Loqibusiness models are ways to offer indieweb products and or services that users pay for both for their own benefit, and in support an open indie web https://indieweb.org/business-model
