There are services that have been built to tackle this, such as @ToSDR, but things such as GDPR seem to have shifted rather than eradicated problems (still better tbh). #DataPrivacyDay (twitter.com/_/status/1221940343022718976)

jgmac1106 yes, but it could be the default setting, rather than taking a new user through three or four clicks to make a post private

jgmac1106 I think I am also talking about all the edtech software where privacy is a legal requirement. The people with the least developed tech skills are often the ones who want to be the most private but we make privacy hard

Bogie1 I wasn't sure if, since I've installed the Wordpress plugins recommended by EWC, if any of those provided a field in the post editor where I should include the tweet URL I'm trying to retweet. Or do I need to write the code by hand as in the post editor?

chrisaldrich I was looking at https://trakt.tv/ the other day and saw that comments have permalinks, but it doesn't look like ratings or watches do. Am I wrong? Do they provide those for pro accounts? Cleverdevil doesn't have links on his watches, so I'm guessing not?
