aaronpk the pattern is pretty consistent. if the product starts being built before the idea of syncing, then it turns out to work great offline-first. but if the product is first built with syncing and the idea of cloud-managed accounts, then offline is always secondary and fails bad.

[fluffy] [tantek] so for what it’s worth Publ does the local-first thing, although its client is a git workspace. 🙂 I’ve been really wanting to improve on that though. Right now my tooling is fragile and annoying and takes too many manual steps. I started a project to improve it (“reblob”) but I didn’t get very far with it for reasons.

[arush] Hey all. I've almost managed to get Ditchbook working on Windows, just need to figure out what WordPress wants for mp-destination. I know what Micro.blog wants though, so if you want to import your Facebook archive to your website, ping me and I'll try to help. Will submit some changes as contributions to the original repo.
