[fluffy] okay so whatever you’re using to retrieve the mentions can retrieve both URLs from webmention.io’s API. But you could/should also set all your posts to have a `<link rel="canonical">` to indicate what the one true origin URL should be.

[fluffy] Which is also how to handle things if you have both http and https versions that work, for example

[fluffy] although you still need to look at incoming mentions for all URLs it might be linked to as, I think
