jeremycherfas I sort of tried that, zegnat, when I used to put essentially just the links on my site and send my writing about them to subscribers. Didn't seem to do much. Now I promote a new issue on Twitter and point people to the signup page. There might have been a slight uptick.

jeremycherfas I confess, I had no idea Substack acted like a real publisher in offering folks an advance.

Zegnat Neither did I. That is a really clever way to get people on board of your platform though.

jeremycherfas It would be a good idea, if I were interested in using LI as a promo platform. But I have a hard enough time exposing myself on Twitter, FB and IG.

jeremycherfas The bigger point is, bread is already very well covered. Of course, I most need to get off my bum and finish my little book.
