[schmarty] pauloptinto[m]: which Beaker P2P microblog are you referring to? i briefly played with the Fritter demo on Beaker a year or more ago. to my recollection the social / blogging tools that were going to ship with Beaker v1.0 were removed in favor of developing them separately.

[snarfed] webmentions + mf2 are arguably a much more core part of the IndieWeb spirit, so if we can keep pushing on that integration, whether IndieWeb sites talking AP or AP services talking webmention+mf2, that’s probably more meaningful

[tantek] in this case, the modularity / simplicity of IndieAuth makes it a stronger case for such a big OSS project

[tantek] also remember the history that various folks pushed back on adding even "just" webmention sending to mastodon because of wanting to *reduce* discoverability. which is a social issue more than a technical issue
