cambridgeport90 I never looked at the logs today, but if you have a web site that holds an alternate identity that you have, are those indieweb appropriate? Again, sorry for the non sequitur,but had to ask, because I think I had a Twitter account suspended for "spam" because of the fact it's my alt.

Zegnat Isn't every "identity" automatically indieweb appropriate? If you have an identity online, and you are trying to control it yourself, sounds like you can apply a lot of the indieweb principles to it regardless of whether it is your first, second, or ninetyninth identity

[chrisaldrich] On the identity question, I think it would be very appropriate if you had a secondary site for an additional or anonymous identity that you were specifically trying to keep separate. Not sure that I've seen anyone doing this or openly documenting it in the wiki though.

[chrisaldrich] There has been a history of people with multiple twitter accounts having issues accidentally posting content meant for one identity into that of another, so this is definitely a usability problem that one might like to work on to prevent it in a personal website setting.

[chrisaldrich] To my knowledge, the only IndieWeb tool I've seen that allows switching identities/sites within it is Indigenous for Android. Most others you have to log out/log back into them. (Though this seems far simpler if one can use IndieAuth to do so and to my mind adds just enough friction but not too much to prevent these things from happening.)
