[Murray] see https://indieweb.org/mascot but they're the "root" networks of fungi, a fairly niche concept. Except, what with tech companies getting into mycelium printing, NASA ploughing money into it for potentail space uses, _Star Trek_ using it as a centre point of a new series, etc. I just keep seeing it crop up 😄
