!tell capjamesg, just in case you didn't get a mention from it: https://memex.marginalia.nu/projects/edge/about.gmi re: indie search projects

[chrisaldrich] That is amazing! I haven't checked my webmentions this morning.

what is a tweetstorm
#
Loqi
tweetstorm is a series of tweets, each replying to the previous, often each numbered so the sequence is clear, as a method of expressing a longer series of related thoughts as a single thread on Twitter https://indieweb.org/tweetstorm

tweetstorm << why instead of blog posts: for accessibility of authoring: https://twitter.com/Foone/status/1440695857699962893
#
@Foone
I have ADHD: it makes writing blogs hard but Twitter easy. So it gets quickly tiring that every time I'm posted there that the comments immediately go "why isn't this a blog? Twitter is a bad site for this kind of writing and I hate it blarg"

ok, I added "why instead of blog posts: for accessibility of authoring: https://twitter.com/Foone/status/1440695857699962893" to the "See Also" section of /tweetstorm https://indieweb.org/wiki/index.php?diff=77156&oldid=75740

re that video: I don't think there is anything ironic that the video is on youtube. If I were to view it ironically, I should view POSSE ironically as well.
#

I think that video is great, and it's the aspect which I still believe indieweb.org is missing a bit: the representation/customisation part, that one can make their website into any form they want, unlike social media.

I'm finding myself like [KevinMarks]: I wrote about this in 2014 https://petermolnar.net/journal/indieweb-decentralize-web-centralizing-ourselves/

@joinmastodon I'd love if Mastodon had more active support for #IndieWeb protocols. Supporting IndieAuth as a login server, for example, and TicketAuth to allow friends-only content feeds. Also h-feed or better Atom support.

it is, but just being open source doesn't mean the project owner is going to accept your additions to it :)
#
Loqi
friendly reminder capjamesg[d] aaronpk, it looks like this conversation is getting pretty technical (open source), can you take it to #indieweb-dev?
#
aaronpk
oops i thought this was #indieweb-dev :)
