In case you're interested in my failed test: https://arirose.malture.de/reply/5/ (You can click through via the link on the time)

I experimented a bit with "recursive reply-contexts" today. But instead of "Salmention" I let the reply ping every other post recursively. This of course produces a problem with "reply chain". With 2 test pages it works fine, if I bring in a third one the display of replies doesn't work well anymore.

[Ari Rosenberger] Okay, I get it. Thanks for clearing that up.

What is IndieArchive?
#
Loqi
IndieArchive is a project to collaboratively grow an archival copy of pages replied to (possibly also mentioned) in indie web posts https://indieweb.org/IndieArchive

capjamesg[d]
aaronpk What is the status of this ^
#
capjamesg[d]
"Presently it consists of a spec only, though several sites keep their own archive based on the concept."
#
capjamesg[d]
I could imagine a web service that, when pinged, retrieved a web resource, cleaned the URL per a set of agreed-upon rules, and then saved it to a Git repo, with a JSON record of who added the post(s) and when.

friendly reminder capjamesg[d], would you mind moving this conversation (spec, JSON) to #indieweb-dev? thanks!
