I try to dig into IndieWeb, but can't choose constant domain name, are there's way to link different domains to ID in IndieLogin?
#
Guest3469
https://indielogin.com/setup stands for Multiple Domains: If you have multiple domains, or want your Twitter URL to link to something that is not your main website, you can alternatively put one or more URLs in your "bio" field on Twitter and GitHub. This allows you to use one Twitter account to authenticate multiple domains.

But what if I don't wanna use Twitter?

How to Set Up Your Website for IndieLogin.com
#
GWG
It allows for you to delegate an IndieAuth endpoint that can use anything
#
Guest3469
And it will be recognized by sites as one ID? How to setup it?
#
Guest3469
I mean if I need to change domain name in future, while I can't preserve old
#

One of the core principles of the Indieweb is that your site is your identity online. If you have to change it, that is possible, but it is the same as a legal name change...it takes some work.
#
GWG
So, essentially, your domain is your ID.

That question was about IndieWeb wiki, as I found, that public instances on https://indieweb.org/Wallabag page is outdated and now there 4 new options described on https://alt.framasoft.org/framabag, I wanna to constantly edit with my name, but it's okay to have different in common, but I try to brainstorm more right way to it
#

Maybe PGP? I found it on https://indieweb.org/indieauth.com#Do_I_need_a_silo_account, so it can be used across the domains, as I understand

Also I found a bug on chat.indieweb.org, where I can submit it?

[KevinMarks] that i/timeline URL only "works" when its the destination of what you click on your /notifications page

You can make a list called "notifications" and use that instead

WordPress.com has changed their pricing, now just $0 or $180/year. Looks like they are still rolling out changes based on feedback… Some IndieWeb pages probably need to be updated when the dust settles. https://wptavern.com/wordpress-com-makes-major-unannounced-pricing-changes-slashes-free-storage-limits

That is concerning indeed

I don't know how many pages cited any specific costs. I believe the pages were generally about the free tier and specifically called out that to use your own domain name you had to upgrade to a paid tier
#
[tantek]
That's still true though it sounds like the minimum plan for a WPcom+domain is now more expensive?
#
sknebel
yep, they killed the $4 and $8 plans and made the $25 plan now $15

ooh looks like there's some amount of use of #deadweb for today's topic
#
[tantek]
would expanding that to ""day of the #deadweb" be appropriative, or a cultural nod?
