[tantek]A long, long time ago, early WordPress releases had a "links sidebar" (like for blogrolls) that had a UI for editing the "rel" of those links and explicitly choosing "me" for your sidebars. Not sure if that UI is still buried somewhere in WordPress or not. GWG would know.
