[snarfed]1[Chris_Lott] looks like you're on Reclaim Hosting, they have a kind of infamous history of blocking wide swaths of the internet, including cloud hosts like the one Bridgy is on. lots of background in https://github.com/snarfed/bridgy/issues/885
[Chris_Lott]Hmmm. I've been with reclaim since they were new and the founders/owners are friends whose philosophy is generally indieweb-ish. Which is to say I will use this info but am reluctant to switch because I've never had a single service issue with them, literally. Hopefully this isn't the final mail in the coffin of my latest IndieWeb dalliance!
[tantek]snarfed, is it that odd? more aggressive restrictions would seem to make sense on "shared" hosting (presuming that means multiple people on the same virtual server)
[tantek]on a borderline subject: I'm looking forward to documenting all the UI nuances of how Apple "solved" create/send/unsend/edit/delete interactions, as I feel a lot of that will be re-usable in IndieWeb posting UI contexts

[tantek]welcome JBritS! In general affiliate links are avoided, and especially if added as a first or very early edit to the wiki, it would appear to be spam and likely get removed.
