How do you even like a webmention? Is it based on someone's tweet or facebook post and it just gets the data from there

Though I always told my friends and even an association I led to post on the website first and push out or place a portion of an article in the newsletter and point to the website. To mention people here just add the “@” sign in front of their handle.

[aciccarello] I just decided to create a /drafts page on my site. I have avoided more digital garden style posting with evergreen pages since I'm not sure how to collect & manage partial thoughts. But I did want to encourage myself to workshop ideas more. A list of draft posts seemed like a good middle ground.

dtw I'm having trouble with my .well-known redirects. I tried both the apache redirect and the wordpress plugin method (https://fed.brid.gy/docs#redirect+these+URL+paths) but it's not working. I can see a "2: No such file or directory" error in the log but... that makes sense because .well-known/(host-meta|webfinger) don't exist don't exist

to2ds @TMichelleMoore Thank for the "mentions" tip. The IndieWeb model makes a lot of sense since it seems like most on social media don't wish to leave the confines of their walled gardens to consume external content.
