[tantek]^ this brings up the whole following a person vs following a feed UI distinction/challenge/problem. IMO apps/systems should be setup for the former not the latter
GWG[tantek]: You talked about that during the Microsub conversation
Cadey, webmind, rvalue, mro, asarandi, pmlnr_, petermolnar, jgee11869225, geoffo, BinarySavior, tiim, vilhalmer, apophys_ and [felix_wenzel73] joined the channel; pmlnr left the channel
Loqifriendly reminder [jeremycherfas], Kaja, it looks like this conversation is getting pretty technical (mf2, Microformats, PHP), can you take it to #indieweb-dev?
[felix_wenzel73][jeremycherfas], I think this is where my problem lies, I published the post and I can see it when I go to the URL, but you say there’s no content. What does this mean? Where do I need to put the content or what might I need to add?
[jeremycherfas]If you look into microformats, you need some additional classes so that the parser can find the information to pass to Twitter (or anywhere). That might be e-content or u-url or any one of a number of things. As I said, I have only my phone so it is hard to give better guidance.
[TMichelleMoore][felix_wenzel73] Create a group and then add a group in that group. On the parent add the class - e-content. On the child group add p-summary and enter all of your intent in that group. This is not a full explanation but then go to Brid.gy and preview that post again. Most of the content should display. For more info there are to many references to list here but it starts with microformats h-entry and even h-card. But for Brid.gy
[TMichelleMoore]go to this section “How does it decide which parts of my web page to include?” On this page https://brid.gy/about. + [snarfed] can give you the real answer.
ajairajAre there any simple instruction pages for setting up with IndieWeb using Obsidian Publish? I have a domain and the service but am not sure what to do from there.
LoqiObsidian is a free, multi-platform application for writing and maintaining plain text notes (for longevity) as markdown files that provides a modest paid hosting service one can use with a personal-domain https://indieweb.org/Obsidian
