[snarfed] I've been thinking about indieweb and fediverse handles/identities a bit from first principles. we like DNS domains because 1) people can use them to get to you directly, without intermediaries, and 2) you can fully migrate hosts, stacks, etc underneath them without changing the identifier that people use to find you
