[snarfed] on the technical side, yes! not on the social side though. if someone knew you and your web site 10 yrs ago, and thinks, I wonder what's up with Kevin, let me go check kevinmarks.com, that works even if you've migrated hosts. it doesn't work as well with fediverse accounts, and not at all if your old instance is down
