[Al_Abut] There’s a good chance that worries about fragmenting the community is premature optimization. A more likely outcome for any new community effort is nobody showing up or it not being actively maintained. So if there’s a seed of people from the Brighton camp that are feeling pumped up to try something new, I say capture that momentum and try it out. If it turns out not to be a good fit, that’s ok, it’s an easily reversible decision.
