btrem [tantek]: not a strawman argument. I was making an analogy. He says the solution to poisonous news sources is to avoid the news. I think that's wrong, for the reason that I mentioned. Namely, that the mass media is, more or less by definition, corporate media. The solution is to make or support alternative, independent, news media.
