[Ana_R]that's a very good question - I haven't stumbled upon a page like that. I normally try to find whatever people have on the author/creator meta tags in the `head`
[Ana_R]I don't have a preference but I've noticed people either quote me with Ana Rodrigues or the title of my blog. While i don't mind either, I would like to make people's life easier when in doubt.
[artlung]I look at about pages for that. Occasionally folks have no such page that self describes and I’ll check places like Mastodon for the name (not username) they use there.
LoqiIt looks like we don't have a page for "Peace Protocol" yet. Would you like to create it? (Or just say "Peace Protocol is ____", a sentence describing the term)
SDavidPrincePeace Protocol a WordPress plugin that enables WordPress site administrators to authenticate as their website and send cryptographically signed “peace” messages to other WordPress sites running the same protocol and/or indie auth.

Loqicommunication-preferences is a page (sometimes called communication protocols) on some personal sites or wikis which describe how people want to be contacted, and also methods of communication to avoid https://indieweb.org/communication_protocol
[tantek]2I think this is overthinking it a bit? If you're citing a blog post and it's marked up properly with h-entry and an h-card for the author, use the name from that specific h-card since that's what the publisher has publicly associated with that post
