cupparexaaronpk[d]++ thanks for the help yesterday with that error. tried to give you karma earlier, but loqi put the whoah nelly on me, so I had to wait.

LoqiRSS is an acronym for a set of XML feed file format variants used for syndicating time-stamped content from web sites like blogs and podcasts, and sometimes a shorthand for feed file formats as a whole including Atom, or even more broadly for the concept of feeds or syndication in general https://indieweb.org/RSS
LoqiActivityPub is a decentralized social networking protocol (W3C Recommendation) developed in the Social Web Working Group based on pump.io and ActivityStreams. Conceptually they were all preceded by OStatus. It was briefly known as ActivityPump before being renamed to ActivityPub https://indieweb.org/activitypub
LoqiA webring is a collection of websites linked together in a circular structure; check out the indiewebring, a webring across IndieWeb sites and blogs https://indieweb.org/webring
Loqihey failxontour, it looks like this conversation is getting pretty technical (site generator, static site generator, RelMeAuth), can you take it to #indieweb-dev?
failxontourall this info is a bit to technical even for me with mf2 parsing and indieauth i see that latter acts as i guess oAuth2 network but I simply put can't really grasp my head arround how to implement neither on my personal page yet
failxontourcapjamesg but does that not defeat the whole purpose of the web. I feel like it's a nessecitiy to do so if I already leech into this knowledege here
capjamesgfailxontour It's totally up to personal preference. There is a spectrum, though. I use webmention.io because I don't want to manage my own Webmentions, but, importantly, I _can_ at any time run my own because the protocol is open.
capjamesgRelMeAuth lets you say that you own your domain. Any 2FA would happen after a RelMeAuth check. The service you are signing into or your IndieAuth server could do a 2FA check if this was implemented.
[tantek]regarding the user-level questions, failxontour, re: 2FA active, that's up to whichever login service you are using (including possibly your own!) that prompts you for the second factor. That's orthogonal to Web Sign-in.
[tantek]For example, I use Web Sign-in with my website domain, and delegate to GitHub for authorization, and I have my GitHub login setup with 2FA which works great.
LoqiIt looks like we don't have a page for "persona website" yet. Would you like to create it? (Or just say "persona website is ____", a sentence describing the term)
LoqiA website is a collection of related web pages, posts, and content, typically identified with a common domain name, and published on at least one web server or host https://indieweb.org/personal_website
failxontourhmph I think I did oversse username creation i used indielogin to webify me now my wiki account is Failxontour.de and I don't think that's how I get webified correctly.
[tantek]lol I'm so late with posting anything even about all the October challenges. Well, we'll see if a few more folks participate even once 🙂 (proud of everyone keeping it up the whole month or even part thereof.)
