Hello! I've been on the periphery of jumping into making a little personal website for a while, and might be taking the plunge soon.
#
ozycaevias
I'm hoping to setup a blog along with it, if anyone has suggestions for easy-to-use blogging platforms that would work well alongside static pages? 🙂

ozycaevias: most static site generators have support for blogging, so you don't really need a separate platform unless you want comments.

Good to know! Might be a kick for me to look into Hugo again.

Welcome!

I would also like to setup my first website: TiddlyWiki Classic on Codeberg for a blog and it's footnotes.
#
DKordic
TW shuold have functionality to produce Statis Site, but it seems to be missing.
#
[Al_Abut]
Oh I loved tiddlywiki back in the day! I went through a productivity phase where I used to stick it on a thumb drive and take it with me to work.
#
DKordic
Great to hear.
#
[Al_Abut]
Looks like we have a page dedicated to it, I’m going to go down memory lane for a minute: https://indieweb.org/TiddlyWiki
#
DKordic
I saw it. It was very encouraging.
#
[Al_Abut]
There’s definitely some broken links (sorry) but hopefully some that still work enough to give a blueprint on how to do it?
#
[Al_Abut]
But if you come up with a more modern implementation with codeberg, definitely add to the wiki or drop a link here
#
DKordic
Will do my best.

IWDiscord: I wonder what are Your thoughts on twtxt?
#
DKordic
I wonder if TW and twtxt would be more clearly explained in Pythons dtatclasses. I find it telling that TW doesn not explain how to interact with it through a JS Console.
#
DKordic
Yes, I am inspired by GNU Emacs ;) .
#
DKordic
Emacs is a twisted REPL ;) .
#
Loqi
friendly reminder DKordic, can you move the tech talk (emacs) to #indieweb-dev to keep this channel more inclusive and inviting?
#
DKordic
Of course, sorry.

Shoutout to [jeremycherfas]++ for being on a creative hot streak of your own. Some of the stuff around Docker and Python sound completely beyond me but still super impressive.
