[morgan]A lot of people feel very quick to give feedback on Resumes. Because potentially, in a societal sense, people are used to looking at many of them and rejecting many of them
[morgan]I make assumptions about my reader like that they appreciate what a personal website is, because Ive been a professional web developer for 10 years
gRegorNeat, just noticed Amy is using tags to collect CV related posts. That's a unique approach to keep up with your latest: https://rhiaro.co.uk/tags/cv
osteophage[KevinMarks]: I have thoughts about the two links that Kevin posted but those thoughts go in several different directions unfortunately, and I'm not sure how to navigate late replies here. Would be easier on a forum.
osteophageNo, I won't be doing that in this case. That does relate to something else I've considered though, a response post about situations where response posts aren't the best format.
snowlesstacoYea, I recently heard about zettelkasten and bought the book "Antinet Zettelkasten" by Scott P. Scheper. I plan to start off the new year by developing my practice in this. 🙂
chrisaldrichsnowlesstaco, I know there are several here who do these practices variously under the various labels /digital_garden/zettelkasten/commonplace_book. Personally I think Bob Doto's book is one of the better places to start. Scheper can be longwinded and obtuse. Umberto Eco's How to Write a Thesis is also excellent.
wtoa[edit] hey, wanted to introduce myself, ran across the indieweb when I was browsing, read through your principles and it really resonated with me so looking to join in with you all, I'm over at https://wtoa.dev/ 🙂
192.168.69.4im making a indieweb utilities website (which will probably have tools like guestboard hosting, blog hosting, posts hosting etc etc) all for free
paperbrittindieweb.org always seems to go down at the same time my own site experiences a massive spike in bot activity. I guess the scrapers are scraping again and overloading the databases.
