i feel ininitly stupid for celebrating simple stuff like this but it was a tough journey for me so I am glad I am seeing progress :)

as I lost failxontour.de due to a stupid mishap on my side while moving to another contract and missing the deadline I guess I have to think about a shorter and maybe nicer tld. Maybe something more techy or free tld if someone knows something. I am gonna setup one up under failxontour.eu.org for now and thought about maybe failx.sh or something similar
#
failxontour
maybe someone has a nice tld name idea for me
#

what is free domain names
#
Loqi
Free domain names are provided by certain domain name registrars without cost: free https://indieweb.org/free-domain-names
#
gRegor
Might find more info on there
#
gRegor
If you're looking for clever combinations for domain names, I like the search on https://domainr.com/

I like that "created by a human" badge. I forget who it was that was recently working on similar badges here: https://cadence.moe/blog/2024-10-05-created-by-a-human-badges
#
gRegor
what is badge
#
Loqi
A badge (AKA achievement) on the IndieWeb is a post or home page button showing completion of an accomplishment (a form of gamification) or self-expressed support for a cause, often for finishing a task or passing a test like a validator, embeddable with a unique code or generically with a sticker image; there are prototypes for creating, issuing, and displaying peer-to-peer IndieWeb badges via Webmention https://indieweb.org/badge
#
gRegor
what is button
#
Loqi
Buttons are badges, logos, and banners that you can use to link to indieweb.org and related sites & technologies, and similar images for a handful of sites similarly aligned in principles or development approaches https://indieweb.org/button

I love that one too especially for more sophisticated blogs I mainly used mine so far to vent and as more of a public diary, journaling aspect
