paperbrittI accidentally made a links post instead of January's indieweb carnival contribution. I had two drafts and less time than I thought. I've been thinking about it all month but haven't had writing in me much.

[social][zacharykaiwrit] I really like both of these Carnivals. I’ve been looking at my long-ish list of snippets that are fodder for creative writing and was wishing there was a fiction or creative writing Carnival to put some out to see what others would do with them.
[artlung]khurtwilliams I feel like I've seen pin13 get referenced as a parser https://pin13.net/mf2/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fislandinthenet.com%2Findieweb-2030%2F ~ there's a lot there and my guess is that your h-cite, the in-reply-to is not the main h-entry but it's in the 'children' property. but I'm not well-versed in sorting out how the indienews parser handles stuff
[morgan]I have only briefly read some of the essay-like posts that are recent about the IndieWeb, by Coyote and https://islandinthenet.com/author/khurtwilliams/ just yet. Ive bookmarked them. I just want to emphasize how vivid and great these exchanges of ideas and dialogues are and to me are a sign of something that is very alive and human

khurtwilliams[tantek]: I tried. For some reason the parser at indieweb.org returns no_link_found. mf2py parses the page correctly — single h-entry, u-url set, u-category pointing to https://news.indieweb.org/en.
