LoqiDiscovery is a variety of methods for finding content, websites, communities, or people to follow on the web including search, directories, recommendation engines, tags, or other serendipitous methods; there are also discovery-algorithms for developers https://indieweb.org/discovery
[artlung]https://indieweb.org/feed_reader may help with feed readers - though how complete it is for linux I don't know. I read my feeds primarily in FreshRSS (or in iOS app NetNewsWire which integrates with FreshRSS)
LoqiA feed reader (sometimes called an RSS reader) is an application (local or on the web) subscribes to feeds (often limited to Atom or RSS) and presents posts from them in an interface for reading, typically without any way to respond, in contrast to an interactive social reader https://indieweb.org/feed_reader

btremI recently joined the Seattle Drupal Users Group, and there's a meeting about to start. My 2nd zoom meeting in one day. That is definitely a personal best. Or worst, depending on how you feel about zoom.

[morgan]A number of people have indicated interest in zines or a zine themed event such as a popup ( for reference, https://indieweb.org/zine . I really want to encourage anyone else with an affinity for such an idea to share their interest, so I can resolve to plan an event with some confidence π.

glacierI read this article by James today about Dopplr colours https://jamesg.blog/2026/02/24/dopplr-colours/ It makes reference to the Indieweb events page where the chart and names are colour coded using a similar kind of system. I just wanted to point out there's a problem with the cyan colour in terms of accessibility. It's very low contrast <3:1, so some people might have difficulty reading it. A work around: add a black border-bottom to the chart boxes in
glacieraddition to the colours and maybe have a decorative colour next to the name using ::before or something else and have the location name in black
LoqiThe 1990s was a decade that saw the invention and growth of the web, dominated by independent websites, as well as nascent silos like Geocities, with a particular brightly colored and often translucent design aesthetic that would come to define the era along with under construction graphics, dancing animals, site counters, ornate backgrounds, and guest books https://indieweb.org/90s
