[morgan]https://alienmelon.itch.io/electric-zine-maker My spouse bought me a download of this sometime ago, it was very fun to play with, you can go this direction with your art style/presentation if you wish to making an electronic zine. But theres a lot thats inspirational from that HEADINGS zine too, for like capturing a vibe
[morgan]In a certain way, zines of old were famous for being created with whatever tools and materials you have on hand. and a photocopier. I think its totally valid if you have a picture in some OS app and there is a PDF markup option to add stuff to it to create a like office-style zine. Theres so much to imagine and consider in the old ways and the new

dcrexI want to start my own indie website. I do know html, but it has been a while since I wrote any of it. I've been thinking about moving my art hobby away from social media to my own page. I'm thinking of creating a very simple page, but with quite some content. It would be perhaps interesting for any people who are looking into sketching and sketchbooks and things like that. I would have a completely static website. Back when I did html, I know that
dcrexit was quite a pain to get the page displayed correctly on different browsers, that is why I am thinking about getting a simple template for a static website. Do you recommend any free template resource page? The main point is to share what I have to share, not that much of tweaking my website. Do you have like a 'phonebook' of indie websites? Thank you, hope you're all having a nice day.
LoqiThe chat names page is for IndieWeb community members to to add their commonly used nicknames on discussion channels, optionally with icons, sorted by nickname with their website and usual timezone(s) https://indieweb.org/chat_names
[tantek]if you want to explore the more technical sides (even writing HTML or other computer languages), go ahead and join the #indieweb-dev channel too!
[Jo]dcrex i dont know if you know about it, but as a mode general "website phonebook" there is the https://internetphonebook.net/ which is definitely indieweb adjacent!

khlsvrany good directory of websites that don't use javascript and minimal css or smth? I need to redo my genealogy/family tree website. There will be many subpages though so I need to be clever
