calciume++ delightful! And what a nice clean design for playing a single track. Works beautifully in the browser

The whole experience with going grayscale UI on iPhone and gaining some incremental focus (has helped writing more) made me curious about other iPhone settings. What a rabbithole of posts about this. In the indieweb spirit of "you control your experience" if you care about y, battery life, etc. I recommend searching your reader/silos for "iPhone settings" without quotes

The weirdest one I learned about was "significant locations" which doesn't actually come up if you search for it in Settings! So many phone defaults fighting against being indie/independent :(
#
[tantek]
If you care about privacy* (not sure how that got truncated to "y")

i did add grayscale mode to my phone's sleep-mode (that is, the mode for when i should be sleeping) to see if that helps me look at it less at night

or, if i look at it anyway, try to minimize sensory stimulation from it
