[social] An ambient recommender “from people you trust” is always helpful and the good helpful systems go away far too quickly, particularly when the focus is scaling and that breaks the good curated resrouces, but also as things scales often the good people I get good suggestions from leave as the scaling breaks the system that is helpful (scaling is really hard with social).
