boredgargoyleHi, I have several websites and yes, splitting them is an easy way. You can also create subdomains for each project so that they are associated with you, but exposed only when you want.
[Ana_R]I've personally kept two domains for this. http://anarodrigu.es (for when I am looking for a job) and http://ohhelloana.blog (the main playground). I appreciate this isn't always affordable.
[Ana_R]In the past, http://ohhelloana.blog used to live under http://blog.anarodrigu.es - I only moved because for a while my blog was detached from my surname (it isn't the case anymore).
[contact898]I currently have http://alexsirac.com and http://alexsirac.pro, although I'm considering moving the personal to .fr and having .com be a single page where you choose on which site you'll go

[Trevor_Morris]I would recommend subdomains for different types of content, if that's they way you want to go. I like how it allows them to have their own design and personality. I've started to explore that with different content on my website. With multiple domains, there are multiple renewals and more chances you'll let some of them lapse. https://blog.jim-nielsen.com/2023/domain-sins-of-my-youth/ sums this up nicely.
JobiusHello everyone. I am new here and new to the indieweb. I came across indieweb.org a year ago and ever since then something has been brewing because I think the idea is so great.
JobiusAnd I finally got around to make my own piece of web that I can call my own. So I figured I share it here. It's just my personal page with thoughts, artwork, music and I plan to update it frequently to add more because right now its very barebones still.
morganwebdevHey just dropping a quick message - its been a while - but Im doing a lot better than a few months ago and a large break from the internet was nice. But things are rolling on well and Im interested to join a few homebrew website clubs some days as I have some interesting stuff to continue to learn and share with good folks ~
morganwebdevMight dip out of the chat again but Ill be around some of the zoom calls . I might be giving a talk if its accepted at a conf in Seattle about single page static websites so lots of material to discuss (on a zoom :D) and its all stuff Im grateful for having learned at IWC events
jobiuss[Murray]: Thank you! I had this idea a while ago and finally got around to building it. I really wanted a playfull website. I have plenty other ideas to make it more playfull, but for now I wanna add some more content first.
valerieflynnAs a creative I'm encouraged to mix my personal with my professional content on my website. Because of Indieweb, I added some slash pages and webrings.
valerieflynnI'm in the baby stages of recreating my old anime inspired website. I've recently been able to buy my old domain that I lost years ago. I'll post the link once I have some stuff online for that site.
burgeonlab<lecaseus> your site is really cool! I need to check it out for sure. I also struggle with deciding where things should go or if it needs to be separated onto another site.

lecaseusfor me its usually the generic layout and the font choices. Though my layout is fine at least, but I did use AI with some of my design choices as I generally suck at CSS
