[tantek] katx, it's pretty funny because you're not the first to wonder why things are "quiet". if you search the logs you'll see every month or so we get someone who says "hello?" or "anyone here?" as their first chat and then if they don't get an instant (like within 1-2 min) response they give up because they think lack of instant response means something is "dead".
