lecaseusmay I seek some feedback for my website? I'm not sure if it functions well enough as a professional portfolio or if I should just move my projects and contact sections to an entirely different CV-like page. https://cheztervargas.com

[aciccarello]Yeah, like a clear "Work" or "Resume" section. Especially with some of the smaller monospace fonts I could see a recruiter in a rush not finding the "projects" section for example.
lecaseus[aciccarello] thank you! A separate page would look cleaner to be honest, but I'm having a dilemma whether I should move my projects and contact section over or have them in both pages which might be redundant?
[aciccarello]I don't think it's entirely redundant if the format/layout is different. In that situation, I try to have both pages render from the same set of data so I don't have to think about both too much.

christofPlease allow me to introduce myself. I'm Christof, and I work on an ActivityPub system for professional networking: ProFed. For the import of profiles, and also for presentation I use microformats. I'm looking for a place to discuss possible extensions, and more use cases in the context of ProFed. If this is not the best place for that, please point me to a better place.
christof@TheAndSys a short explanation is that big platform, that I avoid in public communication to not get into trouble, that starts with Linked and ends with In, but in good, open source, and with ActivityPub. There's a lot of nuance, of course, but that's the market segment.
[Al_Abut]But assuming you’re starting with a http://read.cv style “here’s a very clean readable single page that’s meant to be my online version of a resume that doesn’t suck like a PDF” then that’s the example I’d want to see personally before deciding whether to join.
christof@[Al_Abut] well, that is not exactly what I'm trying to do. You'll have your CV page in ProFed for sure. But it is more about discussions with your professional peers, and also searching for new jobs, or candidates.
