tantek also not proud. When stuff like that happens I feel embarrassed on behalf of the standards community. We do our best to resolve things, and when unable to, find the most practical way forward and keeping moving.

snarfed agreed. and all things considered, if that's an infamous one, it's really not that bad. clearly an irreconcilable difference, but everyone kept pushing to resolve it cleanly and constructively.
