miklb still waffling on comments. Losing momentum, might need to switch tasks and come back. I'd like to put my tweaked theme up this week.

GWG I'm in that area now and might incorporate some ideas if they seem generic enough.

miklb well, I'm using a CSS framework so I just used that to cleanup the display for my tastes, so not really. Not 100% even how I want to do them.

GWG miklb: I designed the template idea so the plugin could distribute a way of doing it, but anyone could have their theme override it. The only change in the template that I'm working on, other than trying to improve the display is that it will work more like a theme template.

GWG I'm just working on design now for it. I want to, while I'm working there, add some of the fields I supported. So, changing/improving the helper functions that generate pieces of the view, and supporting a featured image as an alternative to an author URL, showing published or updated date, etc.

GWG Have you ever looked at the embed feature of WordPress?

miklb_ not really. Early on I used it for a few things, but haven't looked at it much in years. Is on my list to catch up on though.

GWG It came in in 4.4 to allow one WordPress site to embed another. I was wondering if the design for it might make sense to adopt for Post Kinds in how it looks on display.
