@JmacDotOrg @ReBeccaOrg @kevinmarks My read is that it’s less trivial to spam than Pingback et al, but is “defeatable” by e.g. making a page with content “Buy Viagra!” followed by a zillion hyperlinks to target domains, then sending webmentions to all.
