ahh, makes sense

I think it's the page he's specified homepage webmentions to go to, since that's how they're handled in WP
#
gRegorLove
It is odd to have a bunch of top-level h-cites like that
#

Fixing the published h-card to be representative makes sense as a solution

Ahh that makes sense. Now I know how to fix.

I was supposed to make a random page for the generic webmentions to go to never got around to it as I been focusing on moving away from WordPress

↩️ Wow! Good luck. You need any help please don't hesitate to ask. You may want to look at using webmentions with https://brid.gy on Blogger sites..find it build better community than native comments. (http://quickthoughts.jgregorymcverry.com/s/xnZVi)

Just built support for #openid login using Google, Amazon or Yahoo. Works so well: easy to use and available to all. Still have indieauth #indieweb. Help me prove it works by logging in here (and see our new dog!) https://www.donaldmcintosh.net/album/hamish

↩️ Er …nope. There are multiple webmention plug-ins for multiple CMSs out there (which is great!) — I didn’t have a particular instance in mind.

Reading more and more about the federated web, and I hate to admit it, but I'm getting obsessed with the ideas for @StormlightTech. We can use WebMention, and federation all in one. Last I checked, I don't need permission from anyone to promote us?

↩️ Stuff dealing with the concept of WebMention, in other words, someone can reply to something on your site from another one, and then I'm thinking of implementing the Getpterotype plugin on http://stormlighttech.org.

↩️ Not only do you not need permission webmention is a w3c recommendation https://www.w3.org/TR/webmention/ and if you need help stop by #IndieWeb WordPress channel any time. Folks always there to offer a hand. Once done we can add … https://quickthoughts.jgregorymcverry.com/2018/11/10/cambridgeport90-not-only-do-you-not-need

↩️ Thanks! only thing is, my site has 16 plugins in it already, so implementing all the support; federation (via getpterotype), webmention, and then rel-sindication (via the postkinds plugin), that would add a ton oa additional, possibly slowing things down?

↩️ Try to add a fewplugins, specifically the webmentions, but it place nicer when themes have correct microformats, Never heard of https://getpterotype.com/ will have to investigate. We have OStatus and Bridgy Fed. Awesome stuff you are doing (https://quickthoughts.jgregorymcverry.com/s/ZTz3J)

some of the "how to consume" sections on /h-entry sound like the stuff you're dealing with right now aaronpk. Are they still somewhat up-to-date and/or do we have better descriptions in other places?
#
aaronpk
hm I haven't checked /h-entry in a while

@StormlightTech
http://stormlighttech.org will not go back to using DNN for the production site until either someone does, or we implement the web standards for ActivityPub, WebFinger, WebMention, and so on for #DNNCMS. Fun project, possibly?
