@thinnai ↩️ email, XMPP, Matrix, Mastodon all share a common flaw in the way they define userid - it is not portable across servers. Also B can authenticate A only thru A's server, which may not be reliable. A better approach is to use Indieauth/WebID. That is what we use. (twitter.com/_/status/1240803116276232195)
