It is possible to @mention someone on your site using Brid.gy publish with out @mentioning them on twitter. Eg: https://twitter.com/ChrisAldrich/status/1306748549233815553 HTML FTW

@ChrisAldrich
Testing to see if I can post on my website, use http://Brid.gy publish, and not @ mention @schnarfed. (https://boffosocko.com/?p=55777062)

wonders if doing that might decrease the chance of someone snitchtagging your post while you simultaneously Voldemort someone?

outside of page scraping, does anyone know if there’s an endpoint I could make a request to to get this list of subs? https://indieweb.xyz/subs/en

looks like there are no microformats on the sub links but also looks like a fairly reasonable scraping task? 😄

[tw2113]
i went nice n easy and just copy/pasted the view source into a text editor and plucked out the rest, i just need the /en/whatever/ parts
#
[tw2113]
and for the time being, i’m fine with a hardcoded list
#
[tw2113]
fwiw, i decided to make a WordPress block that allows you to select an XYZ sub to embed the markup for.
#
[tw2113]
insert the block, choose the sub, and it handles the markup for you

actual question: I wanna see some examples of activity feeds that people have seen (b/c that's essentially what my archive pages will be)
#
jacky
also thinking that it should be scoped not to a range of sequential posts but like on a day by day thing
#
jacky
something akin to gyroscope's activity view
