I had fun live coding (and debugging) adding webmentions to a NextJS site with @LWJShow last week! Check out this article for a recap or to watch the episode: https://www.aboutmonica.com/blog/getting-started-with-webmention-next-js

Oof I started adding support in my IndieAuth server implementation for multiple profiles on a user, where the profile to use is hinted at by the `me` parameter on the authorization request but ultimately gets presented on the authorization form to the user to select which profile they want — it's led me down a new rabbit hole in Doorkeeper now to graft on that reference to a profile in the access grant and access token models

I think it's going to be fairly elegant when it's done though!

And still not approaching anywhere near the level of customization on top of Doorkeeper where I'd want to think about just building the IndieAuth server from first principles

I think I found the problem with my storage code. My jf2_to_mf2 function fails testing.

It’s become clear that Bridgy, webmentions, and content syndication are a fickle magic. Related (https://wp.me/sap1Ol-1050)

↩️ Honestly, just use webmentions. A service like http://brid.gy will send you tweets as comments. https://mxb.dev/blog/using-webmentions-on-static-sites

bahaha i was able to comment on this peertube video from my website https://conf.tube/videos/watch/32351956-89d7-4887-b6b0-f1a32f91dc36

i only had to special-case a _little_ for peertube. it includes an array of "attributedTo" (author) instead of a single one like mastodon and others

aaronpk: Is the Q&A recorded, as opposed to just the talk?
#
aaronpk
it was. i don't know when or where it will be published
#
GWG
Okay.

I wasn't about to tune it at the last minute
