prologic Q: Are there any known good instant messaging protocols that are more web friendly? I'm not talking about older/outdated (some barely used nowadays) protocols like XMPP, IRC, etc (these sadly whilst serve or did a useful purpose at some point, require fucking around with your network, opening up ports, etc)
