[snarfed] also worrying: sounds like the lower tier (Essential) doesn't need approval, and the second tier (Elevated) does. however, the comparison chart on https://developer.twitter.com/en/docs/twitter-api/getting-started/about-twitter-api says Essential doesn't include access to the current (legacy) v1.1 API
