[KevinMarks] Right, the problem with the weblogs.com / pingomatic model is that they fill up with spammers that no-one subscribes to. The resubscribe part of WebSub was designed to have that purgative effect rather than the "number go up" chasing that makes places reluctant to delete the spam.
