The catch with most of the http://Micro.blog apps including Epilogue is that it assumes you want to sign in with your http://Micro.blog account (which can be free) and then it will let you use IndieAuth/Micropub to post somewhere else. Bookshelf management, for example, there’s no agreed upon IndieWeb API convention, so that is Micro.blog-specific. But blog posting can go anywhere.
