[tantek]btw, aaronpk, re: IndieAuth being jargony and not a good name for a user-facing service, this is literally one of the reasons why in UX/UI discussions I still use "Web sign-in" for the name of the user feature, not IndieAuth.
[tantek]It's *always* helpful to have a user-feature focused term/phrase for the thing you're building that has ZERO mention of the specific plumbing underneath
[tantek]because as soon as you add the plumbing to the user-facing name, then you've now artificially constrained the user-feature to that specific plumbing which harms iterating/evolving that user-feature as needed for changing user needs over time, that that specific instance of plumbing may not necessarily itself evolve to meet
