cambridgeport90 What is the concensus on hosting one's own DNS; I run Technitium as a DNS sinkhole at home (though I need to fix it, but that's another story), and I've got some space offered to me in a datace ter by a friend of mine, and he's fine with me running my own DNS from there, since there is enough DDOS protection in the datacenter itself, but another friend of mine is stating how it's too risky and how I shouldn't do it.
