[mattl] Apache configuration files were being edited and the resulting DEADJOE file was interpreted as a config file. Now Apache (on Debian at least) requires a .conf extension but back then it just took any old file. The server was restarted and it wasn’t spotted for about 15 mins. At which point joe was banned.
